2025 Kyu Belt Gradings
On November 15th Emma Stratas passed her blue belt exam. Congratulation Emma!

On May 3rd Alex Stratas and Logan Coyne passed their brown belt exam. The panel of examiners, including three of the four Board members, were impressed with the candidates' technical skills as well as the control, determination, respect and seriousness they exhibited during the exam. We are looking forward to their Black Belt exam and to welcoming the newest generation into the Fellowship

On 14 May, at the CNJJBBF dojo in Ichenheim, Germany, seven students of Professor Michael Haselein passed their kyu belt exams. The tests involved Jiu-Jitsu empty hand techniques including throws, ground work, striking, blow-throw-blow principles and sparring. The candidates were also required to demonstrate basic weapon skills with the yawara, knife, single and double stick as well as unarmed defense against these weapons. Professor Michael's students received the following promotions:
- Dieter Himmelsbach (orange belt)
- Sarah Foerster (green belt)
- Stevie-Ray Krebs (blue belt)
- Alexander Gass (blue belt)
- Lillien Blumerich (blue belt)
- Markus Stulz (blue belt)
- Michael Isen (blue belt)
